Nueva Reina Nacional de la Juventud 2009

Mazatenango, Suchitepéquez:  El evento Reina Nacional de la Juventud, se realizó este viernes 20 de Febrero con la participación de 10 candidatas de todo el país, representando a 10 Departamentos (o Estados) respectivamente. La celebración inició con el tradicional desfile en carrozas por algunas de las calles de la ciudad Mazatenango, sede del carnaval más famoso de toda Guatemala, y luego se dirigieron al Gimnasio Municipal para sus presentaciones. La primera presentación fue en traje de Carnaval, luego en traje regional, una presentación de coreografía y finalmente en Vestido de Noche. Cada una de ellas dio un mensaje a la audiencia, el que fue evaluado por el Jurado Calificador. Todo el público, en especial jóvenes, apoyaron a sus candidatas favoritas y la decisión final dio como resultado: María Fernanda Girón de Zacapa (2da. Finalista), Marie Orozco de Suchitepéquez (1a. Finalista) y Lidia Arias de Escuintla como la Nueva Reina Nacional de Juventud 2009.

The National Queen of the Youth 2009

Mazatenango, Suchitepéquez: The event National Queen of the Youth, its was carried out this Friday February 20, with the participation of 10 candidates of the whole country, representing respectively to 10 States. The celebration began with the traditional parade in coaches for some of the streets of the city Mazatenango, headquarters of the most famous Carnival in all Guatemala, and then they went to the Municipal Gym for its presentations. The first presentation was in Dress of Carnival, then in Regional Dress, a choreography presentation and finally in having Dressed at night. Each one of them gave a message to the audience, the one that was evaluated by the Examining Jury. The whole public, especially young, they supported their favorite candidates and the final decision gave as a result: María Fernanda Girón from Zacapa (2da. Finalist), Marie Orozco from Suchitepéquez (1a. Finalist) and Lidia Arias from Escuintla like the New National Queen of Youth 2009.
