Parade inaugural of the Carnival 2009

El sábado 21 de Febrero se iniciaron los festejos del carnaval 2009 en la Ciudad de Mazatenango. En el desfile de inauguración participaron estudiantes con bandas musicales, las nuevas reinas de este carnaval y autoridades de la ciudad acompañados del comité organizador del carnaval. Durante la semana del carnaval, cada día se realiza un desfile, como; el inaugural, de carrozas, infantil, desfile de Carnaval, folklórico, hípico, militar y finalizando con el desfile nocturno. También en el campo de la feria hay exposiciones de toda clase (especialmente productos), juegos mecánicos y presentaciones de grupos musicales invitados.

On Saturday February 21 the celebrations of the carnival 2009 began in the City of Mazatenango. In the inauguration parade students participated with musical bands, the new queens of this carnival and authorities of the city accompanied by the organizing committee of the carnival. During the week of the carnival, every day is carried out a parade, as; the inaugural one, coaches, infantile, parade of Carnival (that most converged one), folkloric, horsy, military and concluding with the night parade. Also in the field of the fair there are exhibitions of all class (especially products), mechanical games and presentations of groups musical companies.
